What's on my Painting Table Revisited - Death Guard

Here are some better photos of my recently painted Death Guard.  I also finished painting my first 5 Raptors over the New Years break so have posted some photos of them to.  The good news is that all of my Chaos Space Marine minatures are now fully painted, which means I can now start on my Blood Angels, though I won't be doing anything on them until next week at the earlist as I'm waiting for the new Maphiston Red basecoat spray to come out.

What's on my Painting Table - Second Eldar Jetbike with Shuriken Cannon

Here's some photos of the second Eldar Jetbike conversion I've been working on.  As you'll see it's slightly different to the first Jetbike with Shuriken Cannon which I converted as it follows a style similar to the GW kit.  This is deliberate as my Eldar are meant to be planet dwellers and as such each have slightly developed their own unique style in the maintaince and design of their technology.

A good view of the Shuriken Cannon

I left the Shuriken Catapult on this side as I wanted to show that my non-Craftworld Eldar had literally just converted one of their jetbikes to have a cannon on it due to requirements and demand.  As such the engineers who built it hadn't bothered to remove the second catapult, possible due to time constraints, so they opted to just leave it on but disarm it.

Front view.  Again I slightly changed my colour scheme for the pilot and gave him a crimson helmet.  I think I''' stick to this pattern for the rest of my guardians.

Here's a sneak peek at the converted Warlock/Farseer on a Jetbike.  As you can see it's in the very early stages of painting.  He'll be used in my Combat Patrol games.  I'll be posting an article on how I made him soon.

What's on my Painting Table - Typhus

I've been working on expanding my Chaos Space Marine force and so recently decided to get the Typhus miniature as a second HQ choice.  My end game is to have half my force as Death Guard and the other half as Red Corsairs (With a unit of Thousand Sons thrown in).

Eventually my Chaos Cultists will be replaced with Plague Zombies and one of my two Space Marine Squads will be Death Guard.  I decided to do this because I really like the Death Guard paint scheme and have already started to paint some of my new Chaos units in that scheme.  I also got into the history of the Death Guard through reading the Horus Heresy novels so really wanted to start playing them.

Anyway here's the finished Typhus model. Enjoy :)

What's on my Painting Table Revisited - Death Guard Plague Marines

Continuing my theme of revisiting and re-photographing some of my previously painted miniatures her are some new photos of my squad of Death Guard Plague Marines. Enjoy :)

Death Guard with flamer.

Champion armed with Plasma Pistol and Powerfist.  He is a conversion from the Standard Bearer miniature.

Two "old skool" 2nd edition plastic Plague Marine!

I have some more Death Guard that I'll be painting up soon to, which include Typhus (So I'll need to be converting myself a unit of Plague Zombies in the near future!).   My plan is to use them as part of my 2,000 or 2,500 point Chaos Space Marine force.  Here's a sneak peek!
